Facility Statement A 35-day residential treatment program with 15 beds and all private rooms and private bathrooms. Sabino Recovery provides comprehensive and personalized treatment in a safe, healing environment. Located on over 100 acres of land in the beautiful Arizona desert, at the base of the Catalina mountains. Full campus offers an internet center, common areas for recreation and meetings, a massive outdoor fireplace and onsite equestrian center and adventure course. Recreational facilities including a pool and gym are also available. Chef prepared meals are included.

Trauma Treatment Sabino Recovery is a treatment center for those suffering from the effects of trauma, addictions, PTSD, anxiety, depression and other behavioral health concerns. Sabino Recovery is one of the few residential treatment centers founded to treat primary trauma, as well as other behavioral concerns such as PTSD, anxiety and depression and addictions. The therapeutic model for healing and recovery is based on the belief that core trauma drives unhealthy and painful behaviors. The program is designed to focus primarily on core trauma using a range of therapies, while also treating the presenting symptoms such as substance abuse and addictions, PTSD, depression, anxiety, relationship issues, mood changes, phobias, sleep issues and other behavioral health issues.
Highly Individualized Treatment The number of residents in the program is small, yet the depth and variety of treatment modalities are extensive. Treatment plans are developed around the very specific needs of each resident. There are no “treatment tracks,” which means each resident’s treatment plan is developed after the person arrives. In addition, progress is closely monitored and the multi-disciplinary team makes real-time adjustments based on the resident’s needs.
Naturopathic Approach We utilize both naturopathic medicine and allopathic, or Western medicine. Our medical director is a naturopath and the use of nutraceuticals is promoted to assists resident’s healing without the use of pharmaceutical drugs. We also employ allopathic providers of medical, psychiatric and psychology services. The two medicinal philosophies are not in conflict but rather, work closely together to provide residents maximum benefits of medical care.
